Family Dental Care Cayuga has four general dentists: Dr. Benjamin Chiu, Dr. Jennifer Vien, Dr. Victoria Tu, and Dr. Celina Tang. A visiting specialist also provides selected surgical care through the practice when appropriate. Dr. Chiu earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with Honours from the University of Toronto. He performs most root canal treatment at the office while continuing to practice as a general dentist.
An important part of his approach is explaining the choices before treatment begins. When a heavily restored tooth needs more support, the discussion may include whether another filling is reasonable or whether a crown may provide broader coverage under chewing forces. The recommendation depends on the remaining tooth structure, existing restorations, bite, and what each option may mean over time. Patients should understand why a treatment is being suggested and have an opportunity to ask questions before moving ahead.
Digital Impressions Without Traditional Trays
